2024-25 Upper Deck

It's exhausting still trying to fill holes in sets that are almost 15 years old, never mind the overprinting they're doing now – making it impossible to hit all of your team's parallels. Hell, in three boxes of Series 1, I didn't even get all 7 Bruins base cards! I managed to get all 5 in three boxes of Series 2, but barely.

On ePack, the distribution for Series 1 was even worse. I bought 6 boxes and, while I had as few as 3 copies of some players (like Carter Verhaeghe), I had 9 copies of others (like Niko Mikkola).

I was able to get all the Bruins foils for series 1 within a couple of days of intensive trading, but I don't know I'll ever do that again. I tackled Brazeau first, but getting all the normal base players was excruciating. Even overtrading by 2:1 or more, and offering physical – including all the flair for achievements – was painful. People think their digital base cards are worth a fortune (but not if they're trading the other direction, of course). Most eventually end up on comc in a race to the bottom, so I just need to wait it out, and maybe pay a premium for Pasta and YGs.

Series 1 in white, Series 2 in powder blue., Extended Series in mint green.
