2024-25 Upper Deck

This time I'm really only going for the base set and ePack foils. It's exhausting still trying to fill holes in sets that are almost 15 years old, never mind the overprinting they're doing now – making it impossible to hit all of your team's parallels. Hell, in three boxes, I didn't even get all 7 Bruins base cards!

On ePack, the distribution was even worse. I bought 6 boxes and, while I had as few as 3 copies of some players (like Carter Verhaeghe), I had 9 copies of others (like Niko Mikkola).

I was able to get all the Bruins foils for series 1 within a couple of days of intensive trading, but I don't know I'll ever do that again. I tackled Brazeau first, but getting all the normal base players was excruciating. Even overtrading by 2:1 or more, and offering physical – including all the flair for achievements – was painful. People think their digital base cards are worth a fortune (but not if they're trading the other direction).
