From my collection : Top 10 modern Bruins cards
A short list of my 10 (or so) favorite Bruins cards from the modern era.
Decade : 2000s
The 2000s finally saw Upper Deck put together some interesting styling and cohesive-feeling releases. Some key rookie cards from Patrice Bergeron, Tuukka Rask, and Brad Marchand are the highlights of this decade.
2009-10 SP Authentic
Complete – base cards, Essentials, and Future Watch autos.
2008-09 SP Authentic
Complete – base cards, SP Notables, and the one Future Watch auto (Wheeler).
2008-09 O-Pee-Chee Retro
Complete. This was not an easy set to complete, but man, what nostalgia with the 1979-80 design.
2007-08 SP Authentic
Complete – as with many SP Authentic releases, I have the base cards and Future Watch autos, but am light on some of the scarcer inserts.
2006-07 SP Authentic
Complete – base and Future Watch autos, but no patches, and no Sign of the Times.
2005-06 SP Authentic
Complete – base cards and Future Watch. Sign of the Times featuring Bergeron are fairly scarce.
2004-05 SP Authentic
Complete. One of the more boring SP Authentic releases, likely impacted by that year's NHL lockout.
2003-04 SP Authentic
Complete. Including a Patrice Bergeron Future Watch auto, graded PSA 10.
2002-03 SP Authentic
Complete for the base cards and Future Watch, but not for inserts or Sign of the Times.
2001-02 SP Authentic
Complete at least the base cards; inserts are another story.
2000-01 SP Authentic
Complete. Base cards and minor inserts, but not all of the Sign of the Times.
The Cup : Master Checklist
Incomplete. Just keeping track of base cards – all the inserts are gravy.
