The Berk Ross "Hit Parade of Champions" was an unlicensed set of sports cards produced in 1951 and 1952. It was distributed inside popcorn, mostly featuring baseball players, but also with a few figures from hockey, football, basketball, and boxing appearing in the first run in 1951.
Bob Lemke gives some great background on this set, which apparently dropped the Berk Ross name in the second year of printing due to the aforementioned licensing issues.
There are only four hockey cards in this set, and only one Boston Bruins player: Bill Quackenbush, #1-18. I have a very nice specimen from the 1951 series.
