These stamps were given away with gasoline purchases at Esso stations, with 18 stamps for each team (see a commercial here). They weren't numbered, but carried the jersey number of the player. Some of the stamps were short-printed because during the first run they were pre-printed onto the collectable album. Those are noted at right.
